The color screen is nice if you want to read magazines of children’s books but, it may also cause a little more eye strain that the kindle and you may get a glare in direct sunlight.
- Price: The price of the Nook Color is $249. The price of the Kindle is $139 with wi-fi or $189 with wi-fi and 3G.
- Memory: The Kindle has 4 GB of internal memory. The Nook Color has 8 GB of internal memory and can also use up to a 32 GB micro SD card.
- Battery: The Nook Color will run for about eight hours on a fully charged battery. The Kindle will run for about one month on a fully charged battery.
- Extras: Both devices can surf the internet. The Nook Color can also play videos and music, the Kindle can’t.
